Our company is Jelita Arts and our retail store is located in the historic Fairhaven district of Bellingham, Washington. Bellingham is on the Puget Sound about halfway between Seattle and Vancouver, BC.
Jelita means “beautiful” in Indonesian so we carry beautiful and distinctive antiques and collectibles. In our store, we specialize in distinctive Asian and Western antiques and vintage objects acquired in New England, the Pacific Northwest, and through travels abroad. Chinese porcelain and ceramics and Chinese reverse paintings are two of our largest product categories. Being perfectionists, we carefully select the pieces we sell. Our motto is that we won’t sell anything to you than we would not own and display in our home.
We have a loyal base of repeat customers who value the quality and affordability of our wares and our knowledge about the pieces we sell. We have a reference collection of books about antiques and collectibles and regularly consult with others to ensure the authenticity of our wares.
We have considerable experience in safely shipping fragile items to customers throughout the US. No item has been damaged in shipment.
